Bathing Beauty Products and Pamper Hampers

The General Stores, Mill End, Mitcheldean and Record Street Ruthin are thrilled to be among the first to stock the hand made beauty products of Georgina Jones of Bathing Beauty (www.bathing-beauty.co.uk) and definately the first to feature her Pamper Hampers for Hen Parties – an interactive pamper experience delivered to the house for your weekend, with all the products and ingredients for you to give your selves a facial scrub, a face mask mixed to suit your  individual skin types and a toner and a spritz.

You will receive earthenware pots of salt scrub, all the hand chopped herbs and ingredients to mix with your clay face mask base with details of which herbs and treatments suit each skin type, and a fresh toner and spritz to put on your skin after your face mask.  This amazing pamper hamper will be waiting for you at the house, and will cost £10.00 per head, including delivery.

“Once upon a time I took my A levels and then a gap year… Courtesy of the BBC’s clothes show competition I ended up in London with Models One. The year was 1989.

My first job was for Company Magazine “Face of the 90’s.”  I was quickly relocated to Milan then Paris, racking up campaigns for BURBERRY, EMPORIO ARMANI, DE BEERS DIAMONDS, and ITALIAN ELLE to name a few .

Quite a change from rural Dartmoor where I grew up.

During this time I was privileged to work with the world’s best photographers, designers, hair and makeup artists.

I also became a serious consumer of products…

I had always been interested in natural products those without harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances. Whilst I was abroad I would mix up my own beauty products.

It was imperative that my skin was always in tip top condition a lot of my work was “beauty work”, the up close with nowhere to hide sort.

Remember, this was pre mass airbrushing and photoshop, we were still on manual SLR’s.

You were booked to be flawless – obviously, diet and  lifestyle has a  large part to play , but so does what you put on your skin.

I believe that a beauty product should be free from synthetic additives  and have the ability to work on a THERAPEUTIC  level, to do you good.

I also believe that we ALL need to be responsible for this planet, and as such, I aim to use  packaging that is either reusable, recyclable or biodegradable.

My children are now out of nappies and free ranging, and my multidisciplinary complimentary healthcare clinic is up and running . I feel confident in  my skills as an OSTEOPATH and I have found a few more  minutes in the day to create my range of handmade soap, bath, and beauty products.

I am a micro producer that means short runs made by hand and limited stock, when it’s gone it’s gone!

Each and every one of my products have been assessed and certified by a chartered chemist, for your peace of mind.

ORGANIC HONEY AND OAT SOAP-  Sodium olivate, sodium sunflowerate, sodium cocoate, aqua, glycerine, mel(honey), avena sativa (oats), styrax benzoin resin.

DIRTY SCRUBBER – Sodium Olivate, sodium Sunflowerate, Sodium Cocoate, Aqua, Glycerine, Coffee Arabica, Avena Sativa( oats), Pumice.

A DOZEN ROSE BATH MELTS Thoebroma Cacao(cocoa) butter, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, cymbopogon martini (palmarosa) oil, rosa canina flower, geraniol.

LIPSLICK Theobrma (cocoa)  Cacao, Prunus AmygdalusDulcis, Butyrospermum Parkii, Cera Alba, Madagascan Vanilla Extract or, Citrus grandis (grapefruit).

UP CLOSE – Helianthus Annuus, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis, St Johns Wort Oil, Citrus aurantifolia ( lime) West Indian Bay Oil.

AND PERSONAL – Helianthus Annuus, prunus Amygdalus Dulcis, Calendula Officinalis, Rosa Centifolia, Boswellia Thurifera.

REVIVE BATH SALTS – magnesium sulphate, (epsom salts), sodium bicarbonte, lavendula augustifolia(lavender)oil, rosemarinus officinalis(rosemary)oil, linalool, limonene.

GENTLE SOULS BATH MILK – magnesium sulphate,(epsom salts), lac( cows milk), sodium bicarbonate, Zea mays(corn) starch, lavendula augustifola (lavender )oil.
