We saw the details for the Love Food, Give Food Campaign, set up by Action Againt Hunger in Children, in which communal dining, al-freso lunches, champagne brunches, tea parties and participating restaurants are encouraged to arrange special group get togethers to share good food and enjoy convivial company, and show appreciation for this by making a donation to Action Against Hunger – to help children who don’t even have enough food for one meal a day.

We held an al-fresco lunch in our new garden at Mill End Mitcheldean with over 20 guests, and a great time was had by all.  Kevin the Butcher in Mitcheldean not only hand made us some Harrisa Lamb sausages for the event, but whipped a fiver out of his till for us to give to the cause.!  Thanks Kevin!
