Weekend team building
We are very happy to welcome corporate bookings at Mill End for working weekends away or mid week stays, with refreshments, catering, team building activities and corporate wellbeing and resilience provided by Gloucestershire caterers Bordello Banquets - “A Riot of Colour, Rich in Taste”.
Mill End has on site a 65" TV, 55" TV in the lower malt house, a 50” TV in the breakout blue room & mini wall mounted TV over working/dining tables in the upper malt house; a white board & pens; a drop down projection screen in upper malt house meeting space. If you have other requirements please do ask us to arrange them for you.
Delegate rate of £25.00 per head for refreshments x 2 and lunch - bring your team for a day of team building. No room hire cost - just pay for the refreshments.
Boutique conferencing
Mill End is the perfect venue to combine refreshment, entertainment, accommodation creativity and business. If you’re looking to ‘theme’ your event, we can help with that, too.
Team Building such as chocolate tempering, truffle making, wine tasting, gin blending or pizza making can be provided by Bordello Banquets or look to Go Ape! for an outdoor high wire experience, Soul Connection Yoga or SUP yoga for in house or on water yoga classes, Katy Curd Coaching for great mountain bike coaching or nearby Chessgrove Shooting. Bordello Banquets also works closely with a raw food chef, local wine makers, gin mixologists & blenders, bespoke brewers and group trainers, in personal and professional areas.
Venue Hire Rates
mid-week stays for 10 guests/10 bedrooms from £500.00 per night or up to 30 guests/17 bedrooms from £1,000.00 per night. Minimum mid-week hire of £2,000.00
mid-week retreats, corporate well being and mental health and resilience bundles for 2 nights/3 days of 2 hours classes, outdoor activities & workshops - build your own bundle.
mid-week training or development days for a minimum of £500.00 including refreshments and lunch - no hire venue hire rate.
TV, Film & Photoshoot location
Mill End lends itself perfectly to small TV shows, crew accommodation, production office and film location all under one roof - with the option of in-house catering or self-catering.
Mill End can also provide crew accommodation and catering for film locations elsewhere within The Forest of Dean.
“We hired Mill End as our base for our corporate teambuilding event due to location and size. On first contact with Liz, she was so friendly, flexible with the dates we needed and full of ideas for the room layouts. Liz also supplied us with details of teambuilding activities we could do onsite and offsite which was really helpful.
The venue was fantastic, it offered real flexibility in the layout of rooms and where we could have a formal dinner and a space with sofas which offered an area to relax and chat. The bedrooms each had a little bit of quirkiness about them which added to the teambuilding weekend.
The house was well equipped , with many fridges to hold our beer and wine, as well as a glasses and crockery. Towels and bedding were also supplied which was a real help.
Liz was so kind and welcoming during our stay, which made us really feel that the house was completely ours for the time we were there.
