This traditional stone cottage is great for guests wishing to have overflow from the main house The General Stores, Mill End Mitcheldean. It is next door! Add more rooms or extra spa facilities or have grandparents far from the madding crowd. The usual entrance is from a completely different part of the village but when booked together a heavy door in a stone wall can be unlocked for direct access.
It can be booked as a small house on its own and is ideal for 3 groups of couples, an extended family of grandparents, parents and children or 2 small families. It is great for those wanting to make the most of things to do in Gloucestershire and all that the ancient Forest of Dean offers, returning to the cottage and unwinding in the hot tub jacuzzi, outdoor wood fired sauna cabin, chat round the fire pit or cosy up in front of the open fire on winter evenings.
The cottage also has secure mountain bike storage, and outdoor tap and hosing down bikes at the end of a ride and an outdoor hanging space for coats and boots. It is a dog friendly cottage but as the carpets are cream we ask that dogs don’t go upstairs or on furniture. £25.00 per dog to flea bomb & deep clean afterwards!
Kids love the hot tub, and the courtyard is completely enclosed and private. It is great for small weekend breaks in Gloucestershire - stay in, soak and sauna or get out and mountain bike, canoe, walk, climb and sightsee nearby Ross on Wye, Hay on Wye, Symonds Yat, Hereford, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Hereford, Tetbury……
