THE BACKGROUND:
Ex fashion designer and Bristol mover & shaker Liz Lewitt owned and ran the exclusive media club Il Bordello, Religion Retail and promoted Bristol club nights for over 20 years.
In 2016, Liz moved out of Bristol to live in Mill End, a historic grade II listed building, purchased and renovated since 2004, located in the incredible Forest of Dean.

Liz and her partner Zoff transformed the 600 year old disused village shop, pub and attached derelict barn and turned it into a fantastic venue with seating and sleeping capacity for up to 40, infused with the resonance of wood and seeped in their combined creativity, drawing on local lore and artisan forest food and drink.

When you stay at Mill End and have hospitality provided by sister company Bordello Banquets, you get all of this experience and creativity and so much more. They have brought a bit of inner city Bristol urban buzz and graffiti art ( Nick Walker, Jody and FLX ‘Children of the Can’) to the beautiful Forest of Dean.

HOW TO FIND US:

Mill End, Mitcheldean, GL17 0HP
(Entrance round the back in New St, opposite KCL Hair Salon)
Parking actually at the venue - is very limited but there is a large car park behind the coop in the village or on road parking.

If you are sat nav-ing, you will probably find The Stenders, which Mill End becomes when it starts to climb the hill out of Mitcheldean, so follow directions for The Stenders – Mill End is a very short stretch of road as the historical name suggests!
