Welcome to Mill End: Your Forest of Dean Group Getaway

Escape to the heart of Gloucestershire's ancient Forest of Dean and discover Mill End, a spacious medieval country house that’s been transformed into a quirky, creative haven for large gatherings. With a courtyard garden perfect for alfresco dining and spa facilities galore, Mill End is the perfect place to stay, play, study, relax or quietly party!

For bigger groups, special celebrations or single bed occupancy, we link in with the cottage next door and a coach house up the lane (19 bedrooms) and we offer in-house classes, cocktails, catering and entertainment from our little sister business Bordello Banquets, based in Bristol.

(Please note, as owners we retain the right to swap allocated bedrooms or parts of the house & cottage, depending on maintenance and repair requirements).

Mill End has very well equipped kitchens with professional chefs complimenting us so we do not allow third party caterers or entertainment providers to come to Mill End. Please enquire through liz@bordellobanquets.co.uk if you would like in house catering, entertainment, hospitality, classes or activities.

If Bordello Banquets doesn’t have what you would like on our books, we can source it for you.

Important note: To ensure a peaceful experience for all guests, we do not permit DJs, decks, PAs, live music, or music in the garden. A hot tub curfew of 10 pm and a garden curfew of 12 am are in place. For weekend guests, usual arrival is after 5.00pm, and departure by 12.00 noon on a Sunday or 10.00am on a Monday.
